I am pleased to announce that Dr. Gregory Pearson has joined the Aris Radiology team as a full time Cardiac and Thoracic Radiologist.
Dr. Pearson received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry summa cum laude from Harvard University in 1981 followed by a MD/ Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics also from Harvard in 1991. He interned in Internal Medicine Boston City Hospital, and completed both residency and fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology / Thoracic Radiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital where in 1996 he was the recipient of the resident research award.
After completing training, Dr. Pearson joined the faculty of Columbia University/ New York Presbyterian Hospital. At Columbia, he anchored the cardiac and thoracic radiology division for nineteen years. His work at Columbia was recognized in 1999 with the Columbia Medical Center Department of Radiology Teacher of the Year award and in 2015 with the Best Lecture award. He has been listed since 2007 by “Best Doctors in America”. In 2015 he was also named in NY Magazine “Best Doctors in New York”. Dr. Pearson is cited as an author on over 80 peer reviewed articles.
With his arrival, Aris gains a wealth of experience and regionally unique, world class expertise in the area of Cardiac and Thoracic Imaging. He will assume a leading role in the Lung Cancer screening program for a Connecticut based client.
