Stephen L. Houff, Executive Chairman
Stephen L. Houff, M.D. is a pioneering hospitalist physician and recognized industry leader. From a solo hospital-based physician practice established in 1993, Dr. Houff built what is now the largest private hospitalist services provider in the nation. As Founder and former Chairman/CEO of Cogent HMG, Dr. Houff led an organization with over 1,000 clinical providers serving 130 health systems in 30 states. Dr. Houff has also served as a Managed Care Medical Director at Harrington Benefits, a large TPA serving self-insured employers. Dr. Houff is board certified in internal medicine. He completed internal medicine residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Chad L. Calendine MD, Chief Medical Officer
As a board-certified musculoskeletal radiologist, Dr. Calendine earned his degree in medicine in 1998 from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. He completed his residency and fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology from Emory University Hospital. Before attending medical school, he earned his degree in Biology from Freed-Hardeman University. Dr. Calendine serves as the current President of Premier Radiology and the Saint Thomas Imaging Network. He is the CEO of Advanced Diagnostic Imaging and Advanced Health Partners, a large multi-specialty physician group in Nashville. In addition, he also serves as the Co-Chairman of the American College of Radiology (ACR) GRID Committee.
Lisa Zaucha, Director of Human Resources
Lisa Zaucha joined Aris in 2009 and serves as the company's Director of Human Resources. Her background spans over 20 years in human resources management. Prior to joining Aris, Lisa served as a HR Generalist with King’s Medical Company, a radiology solutions company that partners with hospitals and owns and operates multi-modality medical imaging centers. Ms. Zaucha holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a Master’s of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Columbia Southern University.
John P. Winkel, Director of Technology
John P. Winkel joined Aris in 2011, bringing over 30 years of technology management experience. Mr. Winkel holds a Bachelor's degree in business administration with many IT certifications, including security and project management. He has led IT departments at the executive level for both national and international companies in various industries. Mr. Winkel has been working exclusively with radiology and teleradiology companies since 2000 both directly and as a consultant. He has developed and managed the radiology workflow and infrastructure for a major health system in northern Ohio and served as the technology architect for a startup teleradiology company using remote radiologists based in the US, Australia, and Europe.
